I am an on-location, natural light photographer serving the greater state of Michigan.
So, yes….I am a bit behind in my blog posts. I feel very blessed that it has been a very busy fall so far. I believe that we are all getting back to our family roots and it seems to be the season to update the family portraits. I have had a lot of requests this year for large, extended family portraits. It is not an easy thing to coordinate several different families to all come together to capture those special memories, but it is SO worth it! Watch for those sessions coming soon.
In the mean time here are two of the cutest kids, with the cutest clothes, on one of the most beautiful fall nights we had this year. This is another family that I feel so blessed to have met through the referral of another client. Remember you can earn print credits for each person who books a session and mentions you as the person that referred them. 😉
This sweet doll got to be the first one to try out my antique find. I was so over the moon to find this sweet lace baby bonnet and it is in mint condition. She looks like a little porcelain doll with it on and I ♥ it!

These siblings each had the most beautiful eyes and were so fun to photograph. I can’t wait to show them their gallery because I have so many favorites!
If you know me and my photography you know that my favorite thing to do is capture the connections between people; And as a mother I know how precious capturing children together in one photograph is.
I was talking with this family as we were doing their family portraits discussing how hard it is to believe that I have been doing yearly family portraits for them the past 4 years….seriously…WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!?! It makes me thankful for each moment because in a blink our kids will be all grown up. I am also thankful for families like this that understand how important it is to catch those fleeting moments.
